Ms. Natalie moved to Nashville, Tennessee from her hometown of Spokane, Washington in 2015 to pursue a music career and major in Commercial Music for Voice with a songwriting emphasis at Belmont University. During her time at Belmont, she sang in the esteemed vocal jazz ensemble “Jazzmin” as well as the student-led a cappella group “Prismatics”. Both groups taught her the importance of blending, tuning, listening, and challenging yourself. Ms. Natalie’s love for singing started from a very young age and recalls putting on “shows” in the living room for her family, often making up songs on the spot. During high school, she participated in 7 musicals, but her absolute favorite roles were Cinderella in Into the Woods and Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors. She began taking professional voice lessons herself as a sophomore in high school where she trained both classically and commercially. Currently, when Natalie isn’t teaching, she is writing on her guitar or piano, performing around town, or working on releasing more music. She released her debut single “Small Talk” in July, and plans to keep releasing and writing more music. Ms. Natalie is so excited to be teaching at FBAA and cannot wait to help you find your voice, build your confidence, and watch you grow through music!
